Watching TV, I noticed an ad for Arby’s Grand Turkey Club. It looked delectable and it intrigued me. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make my mouth water a bit. Writing about it now even makes me want one
I’ve never set foot in an Arby’s before so I have no idea what their food tastes like. It’s got to be healthier than a burger though. Maybe similar to a sub?
I looked online and it seems to be only available in the US and not Canada for now. The sandwich was listed on the American site but not the Canadian one. What gives?? If you have tried it please give me your take on it
Aside from the sandwich, I noticed they had what looked like a new logo. After some internet research I confirmed my suspicions
Personally, I don’t like the new logo. It looks sleeker and more modern than the old logo but the text doesn’t seem to belong-like it was an afterthought. I do like the lower-case “a” but that’s about it. The old one went with the whole western theme that Arby’s seems to connotate (although I don’t know why. I don’t see why or how Arby’s is related to a western theme. Maybe it’s just the logo)
I also don’t know about the whole 3D appearance of the cowboy hat. What purpose does it serve, other than making the logo look more modern? The 3Dness seems something that belongs more to the Tech industry. Some of the old logos have a 3D hat and some don’t, so I’m not sure if that’s new or not. I also read that the apostrophe in the new logo is supposed to be a meat cutter
